Concept
The clients had an underutilized rear terrace with a view of the Santa Ynez mountains — and a serious interest in entertaining. The brief was clear: build a fully functional outdoor kitchen that could handle daily cooking while looking as considered as anything indoors.

For the Reyes residence, Sofia collaborated closely with the family over six months to develop a layout that balances open-air cooking, lounging, and privacy. Every material selection — from the UV-stable cabinetry finish to the natural stone countertops — was chosen with both beauty and durability in mind.
